Having The Pros Install A Loft Ladder
If you’re considering adding a new, or replacement, loft ladder in your home, doing it yourself may not be the best option. Installing a loft ladder is not that difficult if you are a pretty good handyman, but for most folks it would be better to get a contractor to install it for you.
I say that because cutting holes in your ceiling and making sure you have it measured just right can be tricky to say the least. Then you need to be sure you install the ladder correctly and get the attic door on properly. All of that leads to a pretty tough go for those who don’t have a lot of experience in this area.
Finally, you need to be able to work from a ladder at taller heights. That can be dangerous for most people as well. This is all part of the reason why I recommend this job be left for the pros to do.
