PlayTime by OpenFeint

freebiejeebies users are excited by the announcement of a new multi-player gaming system for mobile devices that is cross platform, if you’re someone who is constantly left out when playing games on your phone due to the choice you made, OpenFeint may have the answer, coming soon.

Available for iOS and Android, the system allows you to play multi-player games against people on the same OS as you and also people that aren’t. PlayTime is the ultimate answer when it comes to mobile gaming, unifying two separate communities into one large multi-player experience.

As you may be aware, Apple have recently come out with a similar system, one that is only compatible with iOS devices so needless to say, they might not be too happy about it, given Apple’s behaviour in the past, it’s probably going to take more than keeping your fingers crossed to see this one gain entry to the app store.

If you haven’t heard about the number of potentially fatal issues with the iPhone 4, where have you been!? Apple’s latest revision of the iPhone, the iPhone 4 has had issues with it’s proximity sensor, bluetooth and it’s reception. Apple have of course rolled out their free case scheme available to everybody who has an iPhone 4, regardless of where they got it from, including if you got it for free from freebiejeebies, but what about the other problems.

It may seem a little delayed but the new iOS 4.1 update is just around the cornet, being announced at Apple’s last conference. The update promises to fix all the remaining problems but sadly there will never be a software update that will solve the antenna issues due to it’s nature.

iOS 4.1 will be more than just a bug fix update, Apple have promised a whole load of new features to be added like their new HDR technology and HD video uploads.
